Argentine Tango lessons with the Masters! 6 hours distributed over 3 days for each class.

FREE participation in all the activities that will take place in the village of Sammichele di Bari for InTango Festivalito 2025! Milongas with international DJs, conference and presentation of books on Tango, concert and lesson of Argentine folklore with Apericena, and much more. The participants will pay for the overnight stay at the Hotel Esperia where the lessons will take place, and anything else we decide to share. Lunch, dinner, possible excursions nearby.

On July 20th on the Terrace of the CARACCIOLO CASTEL of Sammichele di Bari there will be a WELCOME with an evening in which LIVIA MILES, teacher of Mediterranean folklore, will involve us in a special party, made of joy, music and heart. Apericena with typical local products.

Yatma Diallo lives and teaches Argentine Tango in Milan (Italy), from where he travels to various Encuentros, Festivals and Milongas around the world bringing his experience as a Teacher and Musicalizzador (tdj). The Tango he loves is the “Tango of the Embrace”, the Tango of emotion, roots, tradition. His energy and passion for Argentine Tango have led him to delve into every aspect of tango culture. He will be present at the Conference table that will be held on July 24th. Among the many activities, YATMA is realizing a beautiful dream: bringing Argentine Tango to Africa, in a dream location (April 2026). He will be with us from July 20th to 25th.

Masters of masters, exponents of contemporary Argentine Tango known as milonguero, to indicate the Tango that is danced in the Milongas, Osvaldo Roldan and Annamaria Ferrara have always dedicated their work and their art to Social Tango, Intimate Tango, Tango of the Embrace. For them, the study of Tango is a cognitive investigation and an essential interpretation that crosses tradition, to restore a form of Tango that is a synthesis of past and present, of art and culture. The culture of the step as a sign of a story, that of a life lived, the culture of the embrace, important, heartfelt, the culture of joy in the tradition of the milonga and the waltz. Art as a form of the soul that for the Masters vibrates in intuition and reveals the meaning of the dance. Their tango is a memory, a story, but also a vision. Music animates the first step – we recognize it inside our body and it is already a vision. The eye suspends the images, travels the distance between itself and the emotion that remains suspended. Argentine Tango for Osvaldo and Annamaria is Art that reveals an unexpected color, an unexpected picture, intense chromatisms and revealed harmonies. Annamaria and Osvaldo were with us in the Festivalito 2023, 1st edition, and are returning this year as welcome guests from July 23rd to 25th.

InTango Festivalito 💠​ July, 23-25, 2025

Sammichele di Bari will become a village of Tango and Argentine folklore during the 3 days of the Festivalito! We will offer you three special evenings to live intensely starting from the afternoon.

20th July – Arrival in the afternoon in Sammichele di Bari. Accommodation in reserved rooms at Hotel Esperia. In the evening abundant Apericena (aperitif including a buffet or a plate of pizzette, sandwiches or more filling snacks) & Mediterranean folk dance and music in the suggestive setting of the Terrace of the Caracciolo Castle.

21st July – Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by train to Bari, the provincial capital. We will meet the guide and head towards the historic center. Lunch of your choice at a location of your choice on site and return to Sammichele di Bari. In the afternoon first lessons for who wants to discover Argentine Tango from 4 pm to 6 pm with YATMA DIALLO and local instructors. Dinner at a typical trattoria in Sammichele di Bari. Walk in the historic center.

22nd July – Breakfast at the hotel and transfer by train to Castellana Grotte. We reach the famous caves for a spectacular itinerary. Lunch of your choice at a location of your choice and return to Sammichele di Bari. In the afternoon Argentine Tango lessons from 4 pm to 6 pm. In the evening, dinner in a typical pizzeria.

23rd July – Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by private bus for Gravina in Puglia. Meeting with the guide and visit of the city, including underground Gravina.
Lunch of your choice at a location of your choice. Return to Sammichele di Bari. In the morning and/or afternoon, Argentine tango lesson for all levels from 4 pm to 6 pm. In the evening dinner in a typical Pizzeria and participation in the opening evening of the 3rd Edition of InTango Festivalito in the Borgo of Sammichele di Bari.

24th July – Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by train for Alberobello. Visit to the City of the Trulli and lunch of your choice at a location of your choice. Return to Sammichele di Bari by train. In the morning and/or afternoon, Argentine tango lessons for all levels from 4 pm to 6 pm. In the evening, participation in the 2nd evening of InTango Festivalito.

25th July – Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by private bus for Polignano a Mare with a visit to the ancient city built close to the sea. Fish-based lunch in a typical trattoria in Mola di Bari. Return to Sammichele di Bari. In the morning and/or afternoon, Argentine tango lesson for all levels from 4 pm to 6 pm. In the evening dinner at the hotel and free participation in the 3rd evening of InTango Festivalito.

26th July – GOODBYE – with good memories and a great desire to return!

The nearest airport to Sammichele di Bari is the Bari airport. We are waiting for you for the Apericena (rich aperitif) on July 20, 2025 at 7 pm. At Bari airport there are trains and buses that take you to Bari Central Station where you will take the train to Sammichele di Bari. Train and bus tickets are included in the package and you will receive them by email after your registration.

We will move from our hotel on foot to the village of Sammichele di Bari (venue of InTango Festivalito), and by train and bus to the places we will visit in the mornings. Hotel rooms have bathroom, wifi, TV and air conditioning, and you will always have a half-board treatment, with a Mediterranean breakfast (cappuccino/coffee and brioche) but also savory foods. The trips will be organised so that we move together and never lose contact with each other, while maintaining freedom of movement.
